Helicopter Details.

Please make a serious effort to limit your luggage, especially bulk, as it may mean an extra flight. We ware trying to keep the helicopter costs as low as possible, and the set price is figured on about 35lbs per person. (It helps to wear your ski outfit and ski boots.) And it is easier to load the helicopter with smaller bags and boxes, rather than one giant bag.

The 35lbs does NOT include you're skis/poles or food.

Booze is considered a personal item. I'm going to invest in some platypus bags as the bottles are heavy.....

Your personal gear is anything you're not wearing. I.E. your pack, harness, rope, extra layers sleeping bag etc.

Meal Time!

Ring ding ding ding ding! That's the sound of the meal bell!

A quick word on meals. Everyone gets to prepare a meal for 14 hungry skiers! You'll note that there is a $7 meal award charge in the second payment. That is because the best meal takes home a hundred bucks cash! So, do your best.

Dinners should include an appetizer, main course (should include veggies & protein) & desert.

Breakfast should include both carbs and protein. As well as Coffee! Bonus for including some fruit. Sunrise during our time on the icefield is @ 8:45. So, we'll want to be out the door at 8am. So, Breakfast needs to be ready to go @ 7am. (You'll get my vote if you include whipped cream too.)
